10 pre-party events are being hosted by various craft beer bars across the city of Chicago which will lead to the final event, The Craft Beer Boat, a Lake Michigan boat cruise taking place August 29th under the fireworeworks from Navy Pier.  Each event will feature various beers from Artisanal Imports, an importer of award winning Belgian beer, and Sixpoint brewery, an American craft brewery from Brooklyn, NY.  The craft beer drinking public will be able to win tickets to The Craft Beer Boat by attending the pre-party events and buying the featured beers.  Raffle tickets will be given for each beer purchased and tickets to The Craft Beer Boat will be raffled at the end of each event.

In addition to winning tickets via the raffle at each event, The Craft Beer Boat is also implementing a Twitter contest.  It works by tweeting a photo of the event poster at each location to @CraftBeerBoat, @ArtisanalChi and @SixpointJake or by tweeting a photo of yourself or your friends drinking the featured beers.  The promo code at the bottom of poster should be included with your tweet and the hashtag #CraftBeerBoat should be listed as well.  The winner will be chosen from a random drawing based on how many tweets have been received.  The MORE you tweet, the better chance you have to WIN!
