Players Sports and Social Group Presents: The Big Dig Beach Volleyball Tournament and Party will be held on Saturday, August 11th at Chicago’s notorious North Avenue Beach! Put on your swimsuit and grab the sunscreen as we hit the beach for a day of festivities including: beach volleyball, bags/cornhole, dodgeball and DJ sets and a live music performance by Vanilla Ice!

Entry fee for the tournaments include: tournament play, entry into the party pen, vendors and concert! Food and beer will be available for purchase. Spectators are encouraged and welcome to come party with us in the party pen, tickets available for $5. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended, but not required, as space is limited. You must be 19 yrs or older to participate in the Big Dig Tournament and 21 yrs to consume alcohol and enter the play pen.

Beach Volleyball Tournament Information

Grab your team and register today to play in the Big Dig beach volleyball tournament. Registration fee includes tournament play, entry into the party pen, vendors and concert! Play to win or just for fun – a variety of levels and divisions are available including:

Men’s Doubles (AA, A, BB, B) – $79 per team until August 3rd

Women’s Doubles (AA, A, B) – $79 per team until August 3rd

Coed Doubles (A, B) – $79 per team until August 3rd

Coed 4′s (BB, B, Rec) – $129 per team until August 3rd

Coed 6′s (B, Rec) – $159 per team until August 3rd

Cornhole/Bags Tournament – Sponsored by Groupon

Back by popular demand, The Big Dig will be featuring a bags tournament on Saturday afternoon from 11am – 2pm. Now everyone can be a part of the big event even if you are not a volleyball player! Grab a partner and sign up to bag some fun at the beach. Team registration costs $49 before August 3rd and includes tournament play, entry into the party pen, vendors and concert. Dodgeball Tournament Information

Relish in your glory days at recess when you sign up to play in the Big Dig Dodgeball Tournament. Teams should consist of 8 players, (2 women, 6 men) and will be guaranteed at least 4 games. All games will be played from 12-3PM at North Avenue Beach. Team registration costs $149 before August 3rd and includes tournament play, entry into the party pen, vendors and concert. Parking Information
